Moving Works is a team of passionate storytellers and our mission is to film culturally diverse stories of real-life faith in Jesus to inspire Spirit-led engagement with God and His Word.

Culturally Diverse Stories

God is working across the globe, so there is no lack of stories to film. However, we feel called to film stories where Christianity is small and access to Christ-centered testimonies is limited. This allows us to meet a distinct need in these countries while offering a more diverse perspective on Jesus to the rest of the world.

Spirit-led Engagement

We don’t strive to make viral videos. We seek to create formative experiences that stir your affection for Christ. This is why we are focused on creating film-based group resources thoughtfully-crafted to help you and your community engage with God and His Word in a fresh way.

HISTORY

Since the age of nine, Peter Craig has loved making movies. This passion for storytelling inspired several award-winning short films and eventually led him to writing projects for Sony, NBCUniversal, and Walden Media. However, in the midst of his creative success, God revealed that he had placed his ambition for filmmaking above his love for Jesus. This conviction led Peter into a time of reflection and repentance which God used to start Moving Works in 2012.

Since its launch, Moving Works has remained steadfast to radical generosity and uncompromising quality while upholding three unwavering convictions: making films is an act of worship, every film must be Christ-centered, and everything must be given away for free. Striving to embrace these beliefs, Moving Works has filmed across five continents and has produced a library of short films that have been seen, shared, and celebrated by followers of Jesus across the globe.

Kristin Cotov
Producer & Communications
Kristin is a talented producer and go-getter with a wealth of practical ministry experience, including supporting missionaries in Japan and serving a church plant in Boston. When Kristin isn’t producing or communicating digitally, you can find her sipping coffee with her friends or going to the movies with her sweet husband.

Production
Matt is a talented storyteller, video editor, and cinematographer. His passion lies in using documentary film to share people’s testimonies and spread the Gospel of Jesus. When he’s not behind the camera or computer, Matt loves to eat, travel, hike, explore the great outdoors and watch movies with his awesome wife.

Kristin hopes all people can experience the fullness of a deep relationship with God. She loves to build meaningful connections by sharing Jesus' love and inspiring the body of Christ. When Kristin isn’t making a new friend, she'll be out enjoying nature, spending time with family, or taking on a new challenges.

Executive Director
Peter is a passionate storyteller with a heart to share the love and grace of Jesus. When Peter is not serving at Moving Works, he enjoys discussing the cinematic exploits of Godzilla, dating his wife, Erin, and inciting impromptu wrestling matches with his three daughters, Ellie, Lydia, and Tirfe.
